The inspiration

Dark romantic painterly florals & fruit

This year, I’m inspired by Dutch Master oil paintings—deep backgrounds with gentle highlights, jewel toned fruits, velvety leaves, luminous natural light mixed with golden candlelight, and ethereal softness. This mood board should give you an idea of our aesthetic direction. I’m rather obsessed with it!

2026 Dates:

Saturday, April 25th (now booking)

We'll be shooting moody, painterly portraits against a deep coloured backdrop.

Each session can accommodate up to five people (e.g. two parents and three children) per 15-minute appointment.

You are welcome to come solo as an expecting mama, in a duo as a couple or parent and child, or as a multigenerational group of grandmother, daughter, and grandchild(ren). Or of course, come with your beloved pet!

The Details

What: Romantic, painterly portraits

When: Saturday, April 25, 2026 (one day only)

Where: The Creative Hive, Edmonton

Who: Up to fivr people total. We rotate through your group and do different combinations. If you have more people in your family, simply book two back-to-back sessions. Pets are also welcome.

Why: To create beautiful portraits to enjoy now, and an heirloom for future generations
