What to expect
My style is of family portraits is very relaxed, easygoing and fun. I’ll guide you and give you direction and make sure you look your best, but I’ll never ask you to stand stiffly with frozen smiles. I’ll chat with your kids, follow their leads and make suggestions to them, but I will never expect them to be statues or anything but the fun-loving creatures they are. I go with the flow and keep things loose, giving kids little breaks whenever they seem to need a minute to breathe. My goal is a good vibe for everyone!

When you look at your family portraits I want you to remember how much fun you had together and to see your love shining through in the images. I never want you to think that you’re just glad you survived that painful hour and yes, the photos are good but yikes, it was a stressful ordeal. I do my best to make sure you will truly enjoy the experience.
Are we a perfect fit?
If you want highly controlled images where everyone is looking straight at the camera and smiling in every photo, I might not be your girl. If you’d love a mix of posed portraits, documentary style images, in-between moments, and glimpses at your real life with a clean and editorial sensibility, we might be a perfect fit. You’ll be excited to return again and again to document your milestones. It would be my honour to follow your family’s story.

Show your baby what your life was like while you were waiting to meet them.
We will work together in creative collaboration to plan a beautifully personalized shoot that includes meaningful places and moments to help share the story of this special time in your life.
What are lifestyle maternity portraits?
Can you imagine how cool it would be to look back and see how your parents were living before you made your debut? To see what your home looked like at the time, what your childhood pets were up to, and how excited everyone was for you to come into the world?
This is exactly what I offer in Lifestyle Maternity sessions. It's an opportunity to create a visual time capsule for you and your baby. To preserve all these particular, great and small details of your life. Before you took a deep breath and dove deeply into the waters of parenthood. To share this feeling, this excitement and this moment with your children and future generations.

Yes, I am happy to travel to your home, or I can suggest beautiful indoor or outdoor locations throughout the city. I will send you a brief questionnaire to get a sense of your personality and the vibe you are hoping for and make tailored location suggestions for you.

Short answer: no.
Longer answer: apart from mini sessions, which are only offered a few times per year, I don’t offer abbreviated versions of my services. It’s important to me to deliver high-quality, consistent images to you, as well as a comfortable, unhurried, personalized and memorable experience. In order to do this, it’s always offered as the one hour session only.
However, you are more than welcome to add additional shooting time to that if you’d like more time! I believe in building relationships with my clients, so for me it’s an absolute must that we spend enough time together in order to do so.
